Welcome to Ben’s masterclass: Get to Know the Old Testament. In each episode, Ben will shine light on the context of Bible and how we can look at the Old Testament with a fresh perspective. This series will cover topics such as, why we should trust the Old Testament, how an ancient document still applies to today, and how the different genres of the Bible can influence the way we read it. Our prayer is that this masterclass will fill you with passion for the things of God and that you will be equipped and empowered to study His Word and draw closer to Him.

Ben Cochrane

Ben joined Hillsong Church in 1998 serving in multiple volunteer roles such as service pastor, youth pastor, volunteer oversight, and leading our street team initiatives. He joined staff at Hillsong College in 2007 and, for many years, was the Head Trainer for our Pastoral Stream. Ben is passionate about biblical teaching and discipleship. His love for Jesus has cultivated a desire within him to see people discover and live out their calling in order to see the Kingdom of God established across the globe.
