This privacy policy outlines the basis on which all personal information will be collected, managed and used, by Hillsong College Ltd whose details are set out below, whether provided through the website, or acquired directly by any other means, and will be dealt with in accordance with the Law.

The websites on which Hillsong College Ltd (“Hillsong College”) Policy is hosted www.Hillsong.com and http://collegeworx.hillsongcollege.com/ is owned and managed by Hillsong International Limited having its registered office at 1-5 Solent Circuit, Baulkham Hills, NSW Australia as trustee for Hillsong International (“Hillsong International”)

Although Hillsong International is based in Australia in making this website available to Hillsong College it has agreed to comply with the Law.

Hillsong International has agreed with Hillsong College that:

Hillsong College will manage content on that part of the website dedicated to Hillsong College, for example, Hillsong.com/college where Hillsong College’s Privacy Policy is posted and in particular registration at events and online giving;

  • all personally identifiable information relating in any way to persons resident in the European Union (EU) and Norway acquired from or relating to such persons accessing the website for any purpose including, without limitation:

We do not hold any debit or credit card details for donations/payments made via the website. All card payments are handled by service providers who encrypt card information sent from this website.

RECORD KEEPING

  • Hillsong College keeps accurate and up-to-date records of student information. This includes personal information*, academic progress, reports of interviews, financial records and welfare reports in both hard copy and electronic format.
  • Student files include any forms, records of interviews or results while at Hillsong College. This covers hard copies or computerised documentation. These include; Application Form, Pastoral Reference Form, salvation testimony, academic transcripts, records of interviews and any counselling notes (all of which remain private and confidential at all times).
  • Access to these files remain confidential and are accessible by defined personnel according to Hillsong College procedures and privacy legislation. These staff members include;

Family and spouse details when you jointly volunteer and register for events;

Records of your contact with us;

Photographs at Hillsong College services or events;

visits to the website to enable Hillsong International to improve its effectiveness and better promote Hillsong College services and events;

religious information (Hillsong College attendance, personal faith decisions, baptism)’

We will use the personal information collected for the purpose with your contractual relationship with Hillsong College through enrolment, and your consent provided at the time of collection, or as subsequently provided and legitimate related, education interests, in accordance with the Law applicable from time to time.

Generally, such consents and related legitimate interests may include:

Those parties may also process information, fulfil and deliver orders, process credit card payments and provide support services to us.

Third party service providers may process information, fulfil and deliver orders, process donations, credit card payments and provide support services on our behalf. Where such details are shared agreements in place restrict the use of your information to the purpose for which it is provided and ensure it is stored securely and in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

One of Hillsong College’s and Hillsong International’s main providers is The Rocket Science Group in the USA d/b/a MailChimp, which provides us with email communication services, which company is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework approved by the European Commission.

We do not sell or pass any of your personal information to any other organisations and/or individuals without your express consent unless required by law.

Financial Records and Card Details:

All credit/debit card donation made online or by phone, are made securely through third party service providers and payment gateways which comply with the Payment Card Industry Security Standard.

We do not store financial details (credit or debit card numbers) obtained through online transactions nor do we pass any information to third parties, except where we are legally required to do so, to assist fraud reduction, or to provide a service requested and minimise credit risks.

Access To Your Information: Correction & Deletion

Please tell Hillsong International or Hillsong College as soon as any of your contact details change so that records can be kept up to date.

You can change the way you are contacted, or the kind of material sent to you, at any time by contacting us by mail or email using the contact details below.

You can request access to the personal information that is held about you by contacting a Data Protection Officer. Contact details are set out below.

We will take reasonable steps to correct any of your information which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
