Rich in context and understanding! Rich in analysis and understanding! Rich in applicable tools for further understanding and exploring the New Testament. I loved the transparency by which the different theological approaches/opinions were noted, reviewed and sorted through in way that makes sense and encourages further exploration.

I like how context is key to understanding God's Word better and this class definitely helped. Although I have my own opinions, it helped me think and see from a different perspective. I appreciate literature and history all the more in connection to how I want to understand how God would speak to us through the bible.

It's great to hear the books of the New Testament explained in terms of what was meant. My 21st Century mind is so out-of-context that I needed this to properly evaluate what was meant by some critical passages of scripture

It was a deeper introspection of a normal bible study, I understand that it is a theological degree but I didn't expect to be this invested and interested in a course. Loved this learning platform and opportunity, I have no criticism, felt like everything was well thought out, explained, encouraged and understood.

Glad I was part of this amazing journey with Prof. Duncan Corby. I learned so much.

My perspective was widened beyond what I could've possibly anticipated. I feel informed and encouraged to continue reading the bible with renewed confidence. Understanding what the intent was when it was written helps me more accurately apply it to life today. I'm also a lot less afraid of the Book of Revelations! Haha. Really grateful for this content available online!

Reassuringly plain-speak/layman worded course. Solid depth and a pan-academic review of mainstream understanding. Very modern/contemporary.
